Environmental Division
Western Environment's Environmental Division principal staff has
over 30 years of experience conducting site characterizations and
remedial action plans. Additionally, Western Environmental and
Ecology, Inc. has completed more than 500 environmental site
assessments throughout the United States and abroad. The
environmental site assessments, conducted in accordance with
American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM-1527), can also
include asbestos and lead-based paint inspections. The
Environmental Division works with the Ecology Division to
identify environmental issues as well as ecological concerns
during the environmental site assessments. Mine subsidence
investigations for residential and commercial developments have
been performed by Western Environment and Ecology personnel since
1980. These studies have been used to locate single-family
housing to 200,000-square-foot buildings above abandoned
mines.
