Western Environment and Ecology, Inc. was founded in 1994 by Greg D. Sherman to meet the demand for responsive and realistic environmental and ecological management services.
Our skilled and diverse staff have performed thousands of projects for companies and municipalities throughout the western United States. The varied backgrounds of our personnel and their experience allows Western Environment and Ecology the unique ability to efficiently design, implement, and manage diverse and complex environmental studies. We pride ourselves on providing environmental services that meet the technical and economic requirements of our clients through innovative and imaginative solutions that are responsive to the demands of local, State and Federal regulatory agencies.
Western Environment and Ecology has a wide variety of technical capabilities stemming from our varied backgrounds in engineering, geology, wildlife biology, wetlands ecology, construction and environmental science. We insist on a multi-discipline approach to all projects.
Our corporate philosophy has, and will continue to be to apply a multi-disciplinary approach with personal commitments from management to meet or exceed project goals.
Our office is a converted 1880's farm house located in the heart of downtown Littleton, Colorado.

THE MANAGEMENT TEAM
Mr. Sherman has more than 45 years of professional experience. Mr. Sherman is recognized in the region as one of the leading experts in underground storage tank management, soil and groundwater remediation and mine subsidence. He is a published author of over twenty peer reviewed papers, and a frequent public speaker.
Greg Sherman, P.G. - President
Austin Curry - Project Manager
Mr. Curry has been with Western Environment for the last 5 years. He is an experienced leader and project director. Mr. Curry enjoys managing complex projects and mentoring junior staff in performing environmental field studies and wetland delineations. Austin's interests include bow hunting and fly fishing.
Brendan Calonge - Senior Scientist
Mr. Calonge has more than 5 years of professional experience leading environmental projects. He specializes in research and ecological surveys. Brendan enjoys home brewing beer with his family and playing music.
